Songs that REMINDS you of Alizée :P

Ok so my idea for this thread came from the Songs you would like Alizée to do covers thread. I noticed that there were many who had ideas for songs that they seemed fit for Alizée but not neccesarily to be performed by herself.

It can be many things that make you chose these songs:
The vibe of the song reminds you of Lilly.
The memory you have from the song ties you to her somehow.
The lyrics of the song seems to describe something about Alizée.
Or why not all the above at once?

Another guidline could be;
Songs that you would like to use in a fan tribute movie that you are simply too lazy to create (large portion of self criticizm here

).

I have 3 songs that, at the moment I heard them, instantly felt obviously ment to be used in an Alizée tribute movie.

Fleetwood Mac - Hypnotized
Incredible groove in this song that soothes you, just like Alizée does.
Also listen to the lyrics:

We know the answer to that tale

Found out that people have used this already for similair purposes, on youtube there was one for Angelina Jolie and one for Milla Jovovich. As I am a great fan of The Fifth Element I chose to latter one

LOL!! Tomtentp I have been meaning to start a thread like this one for awhile but I always forget to start it. It seems you beat me to it lol. This song by MGMT "Electric Feel" has always reminded me of Alizee and even more so when I read an article that Andrew VanWyngarden of MGMT said in an interview stating something along the lines that the song was about a girl that has skin like Electric currents!!!

Edwyn Collins - A Girl Like You
Can't believe noone used this one yet, it's just perfect, and very obvious that he has been singing about Alizée all along

The last one is a song that I have strong memories to and might seem a bit melancholic for Alizée. The lyrics doesn't really compute either but for me the athmosphare somehow describes my feelings for her pretty well.
It just grabs me.

Nice selections - especially the first one.

I could even hear her singing the first one, as it is about what one imagine in ones mind, and we all know what her last album had as a theme.

However, for those living in a metal universe, I have some bad news - Lili ain't there.

Thank God?? As much as I love Alizee, I doubt I would be hanging on if she went mental on us.. I mean, metal on us!
