Is there still interest in a T-Shirt?

when i have time to update the look and feel of the website, i am going to change the main URL to alizeeamerica.com

i know a lot of people don't like that idea, but i think we are need to do it. alizeeamerica.com has always redirected to moi-alizee.us ... i will just swap it to and make moi-alizee.us redirect to alizeeamerica.com

maybe we will have a vote on it and see exactly how many people are against it

(but have already 99% decided to do it)

i personally like alizeeusa.com, but alizeeamerica.com is cool too. that is after all what it says in big huge letters at the top of the site.

Yeah, I really don't like the idea of switching the usage to AlizeeAmerica.com from Moi-Alizee.us because that's what everyone knows it as and it might look like a new web site, but at the same time I understand there are reasons to do it. We'll see if it really matters though. I think for certain types of advertisement it might matter, as I've said, but other than that I don't know.
Sorry, I can sorta see the appeal of alizeeusa - short and sounds good if you say it (in English), but it seems like unless we suddenly started calling this site that, it's sorta pointless to try to use it. It took long enough for us to settle on the abbreviation AAm. Don't mess with that now!

probably because they're stuck on the original moi-alizee.com. i could see why you chose this URL to kinda mirror that one, i guess. now that she has a new site, you should really consider alizeeamericaofficiel.us.

btw, what are your thoughts on changing the look and feel of the site?

im not sure really, the site just seems 'dated' to me now. it will still be very simple, even more simple if anything. the site is basically just a forum so no need for anything crazy.

i dont want to drift way off topic here though, we can start a new thread if needed.

Re-christening the site as "alizeeamerica.com" is an exceptionally good idea. It's better branding, it really IS easier to remember than the current URL, and it really gets to the point of the site's purpose for existing. How anyone could have any objection to the name change is a total mystery to me.

We're naturally hesitant to change and my custom t-shirts beg to differ. First one had "www.moi-alizee.us" which didn't look right, so I went back to the tried and true "moi-alizee.us" on the second one. But that's a selfish argument. I guess it's a bad idea to put a URL on a t-shirt. Also, folks might like the neutrality of just "moi-alizee.us".

Brad it's your site and you could do what ever you want. To bad there's no user option to select between classical (current) style and whatever your new concept style will be. I just like the red and black look. Hey, I might just as well like the new one if/when it comes to fruition.
