"Such a shame to believe in escape
A life on every face
And that's a change, till I'm finally left with an eight
Tell me to react, I just stare
Maybe I don't know if I should change
A feeling that we share...
It's a shame
(Such a shame)
Number me with rage, it's a shame
(Such a shame)
Number me in haste, it's a shame
This eagerness to change
It's a shame..."

Born on the Fourth of July
Likes: Tom Cruise, anti-war message
Dislikes: Tom Cruise's various bad wigs, war scenes, Kyra Sedgwick

Tokyo Godfathers
Likes: Japanese, animated, black comedy
Dislikes: reading subtitles (though not really big deal as necessary for foreign films)

The Serpent and the Rainbow
Likes: Bill Pullman, interesting in creepy way (the movie, not Bill Pullman)
Dislikes: Voodoo, Haitian government, the fact that it was inspired by true events (increases creepiness)

that movie was probably the most boring piece of shit movie i ever saw. it got an academy award for best picture? i guess blind and deaf people pick these awards? anyway, just my opinion

i recently saw the incredible hulk, and it was about 19 times better than indiana jones 4.

what? the Incredible Hulk was the corniest movie i've seen in a while

do you honestly like cheesy love stories mixed in with a big green monster?
please

some parts were painful to watch

yes i'll agree the new Indiana Jones completely sucked

as for No Country For Old Men - yes it was kinda slow but still a really really good movie
and the Coen Brothers (directors) have done Fargo and O Brother Where Art Thou

so not only have they recently done a great movie but have a history of masterful art work

and if anybody even attempts to argue that the new Incredible Hulk is better than the alleged piece of sh%t movie Transformers - i literally think you're from Mars

I'm sorry but last summers Transformers blows away any 08 summer movie by far

the only foreseeable competition is Dark Knight

Hulk was good in the sense that it was Edward Norton and Hulk Smashing Things. Not nearly as good as Iron Man, but worth my 7 bucks.

No Country For Old Men has nothing on There Will Be Blood.

Also, best film I've seen in ages: Closer, the Ian Curtis biopic. Even if you've never heard of Joy Division, go check this out. You'll laugh, you'll empathize, you'll cry.

There Will Be Blood is really good except for the ending

and the whole thing about being a pissed off psychopath and having the whole movie centered around that - i found that rather simple

but DDL is one of greatest actors ever

why is there no love for No Country for Old Men?
come on folks - it's a great movie!

Land of the Blind

funny mixture of comedy, political philosophy, and espouses a unique modernized story of the beginning, apogee, and downfall of communism in USSR
it's a good rent if you're interested

Over the Top

one of the worst movies i've ever seen - but i imagine it would be fun to watch if you're drunk and with your buddies
