Likes: Tom Cruise, anti-war message Dislikes: Tom Cruise's various bad wigs, war scenes, Kyra Sedgwick Tokyo Godfathers Likes: Japanese, animated, black comedy Dislikes: reading subtitles (though not really big deal as necessary for foreign films) The Serpent and the Rainbow Likes: Bill Pullman, interesting in creepy way (the movie, not Bill Pullman) Dislikes: Voodoo, Haitian government, the fact that it was inspired by true events (increases creepiness)

Hulk was good in the sense that it was Edward Norton and Hulk Smashing Things. Not nearly as good as Iron Man, but worth my 7 bucks.
No Country For Old Men has nothing on There Will Be Blood. Also, best film I've seen in ages: Closer, the Ian Curtis biopic. Even if you've never heard of Joy Division, go check this out. You'll laugh, you'll empathize, you'll cry.

Land of the Blind
funny mixture of comedy, political philosophy, and espouses a unique modernized story of the beginning, apogee, and downfall of communism in USSR it's a good rent if you're interested Over the Top one of the worst movies i've ever seen - but i imagine it would be fun to watch if you're drunk and with your buddies
