Ok, well I updated the art. That's pretty much as small as I can go without trying ggin's idea.

I admit I'm a little nervous about this promotion. We recently had a case here in Minnesota which I assume made national news. The article is here.

I realize this is a different type of case, but Sony/BMG was a co-plaintiff and who knows how far they will go, especially since they won the case. I guess if it was me, I'd delete all posts regarding the disc and remove the internet address from it and distribute them anonymously. As much as I’d like to see Alizée popular in the USA, I wouldn’t want it at a fan’s expense. Maybe I’m just being a coward, but the case in Minnesota was scary.

The difference is that I don’t think promoting Alizée in this way is morally or ethically wrong, and I’d have a clear conscience about it. I just don’t trust how the legal side of things could play out.

Do you guys think I'm being unnecessarily cautious and paranoid?

Unnecessary? When it comes to stuff like this (the law), there isn't really a limit to how cautious you can get. I don't think so, seeing as not many of us (or none of us at all) completely understand the legal side of these things.

Although, I'm sure someone here can enlighten us about the 'legal' side to this kind of thing

You do it and you get caught, you try to get away with it.
You do it and you don't get caught, you keep going til you do, so you can get away with it and do it again.

If the 'legal' matters worry anyone, i'll handle it myself, i'm not afraid to get into hassles with, the American authority.
But I suppose I shouldn't act so much as a legal martyr, i'll step back.

I usually go with this.
I do it, I get caught. Do it a few more times before they can get a hold of you.



However, I haven't any matters with authority. Yet.
As for you being a legal martyr: No one is trying to prevent you from posting anywhere, yet I think you are one of the biggest impacts on this movement This is proof enough, I think :P
