She would be great to see in the show How I Met Your Mother. Alizée and Alyson Hannigan together. Toss Zooey Deschanel in there....instant heart attack.

Officer?

A Starfleet captain is not considered to be an officer. Rocket, you need to watch more Star Trek!

As in many real life navies, captain within the Star Trek universe can refer to a commissioned Starfleet officer rank or the title held by the commander of a ship irrespective of their actual rank. The rank first appears in Star Trek's initial pilot, "The Cage", and is held by Christopher Pike, who commands the USS Enterprise. Dozens of captains, both seen and unseen, have played minor and major roles throughout Star Trek's various incarnations.

captain is considered an officer rank, rocket is correct. On your feet, officer on decK!
edit: basically any military personal who completed 4 years of college is given the rank of an officer upon enlisting. Of course you have rare cases where NCO's make it into OCS and get officer rank but that is rare.

That's a technicality, but acceptable.
