hmm plate armor.........

i would have to go with the morning star if i'm thinking correctly i could be wrong how ever

and crossbows are great for fighting one with plate

Well, they're all the right answer really. If one is a skilled swordsman, you can easily ignore the plate and slash where the weakness is dealt most, but this is the worst choice.

A Morning star flail is brilliant for destroying plated enemies especially when in melee combat. The blunt force and the momentum of the projected spiked ball can easily smash up and deal a heavy overattacking of a plated armor opponent.

A British Longbow, especially when range is given, can shoot a just arrow that will pierce through one inch of pure steel if given the right trajectory of wind and speed.

well i thought you were wondering what would be best to actually hit the plate with

as you said the morningstar is great for just beating the heck out of the plate and either way it will injure the opponent much more even if it doesn't pierce the armor

an arrow is great if you hit in a good spot or with enough force
