Well, they're all the right answer really. If one is a skilled swordsman, you can easily ignore the plate and slash where the weakness is dealt most, but this is the worst choice.
A Morning star flail is brilliant for destroying plated enemies especially when in melee combat. The blunt force and the momentum of the projected spiked ball can easily smash up and deal a heavy overattacking of a plated armor opponent. A British Longbow, especially when range is given, can shoot a just arrow that will pierce through one inch of pure steel if given the right trajectory of wind and speed.
