No, we don't. Maybe you're referring to hydrogen? If so, yes, fuel cells might be an option but advanced batteries will probably do just fine. Did you know that the same type of batteries used in a laptop are now actually used to power electric cars?

Huh? Why would they explode?? And robots will help solve problems, not make them worse.

Everything swings both ways.
Robots can help just as much as they can destroy or ruin.
It's like that with us too.

your thinking too specific. ask yourself if anybody can be sure they will not explode? it doesnt take much for people to altar something for thier own use, or to mishandle something and cause problems. btw, laptop batteries need to be charged constantly, and sometimes so do car batteries. (either that or they switch them with new ones....im not sure, i never looked)

Yes.

Technology is a two edged sword. However, most of the time it works to our advantage, so the rational thing is to keep using it.

You mean they have to be recharged. Well, yes, of course, what's the problem?

Very interesting. Thanks for posting.

I don't think I want to live in a society full of robots with very little human interaction. Robots don't have a soul after all.

Thank goodness the USA doesn't have a declining birth rate unlike Japan and Europe. But the Europeans are smart enough to bring in immigrants to solve their declining birth rate problem. I don't think the Japanese can just build their way out of this low birth rate just by building robots. Eventually they will start to have to "produce humans" or else it will be a country in the decline in the long run.
