Even though Alizee is a beautiful name, it means "trade wind" and is hardly fitting of something in space. Space has no wind.
Also thousands maybe even more vote for this thing, what makes you think a few 100 at most, of us can get something like this accomplished. If you guys put half the effort into promoting Alizee herself instead of doing BS like this, who knows what we could have accomplished. Come on guys, what were you thinking?

No negative comments I would love too see her name on it but talking about NASA it's just something that has a 99.9% of not happening.
There of course is that .01% but come on.

Not a hardcore fan of those 2 but I do enjoy a good Sci Fi. Most of the later series started while I was overseas so I couldn't really follow them. I only got into BSG and Heroes about 6 months ago. Other than that, all I mostly watch is Discovery and History.

I voted Serenity, they're not gonna name a spacecraft after liqueur.
Houston, we have a *hic* problem. Frak.

Hm, maybe they'll have no problem deciding if we send them a picture

Rule Number... 4

NASA will take into consideration the results of the voting. However, the results are not binding on NASA and NASA reserves the right to ultimately select a name in accordance with the best interests of the agency, its needs, and other considerations . Such name may not necessarily be one which is on the list of voted-on candidate names. NASA’s decision shall be deemed final.

Heheheh...hadn't even thought about the liqueur. Frak, indeed.

And having it named Serenity would be pretty awesome, I'm not gonna lie.
