You may be partly right.... A woman who is sexy, poised, smart, talented, confident and reserved in an age of attention whore divas like the Spears, Megan Fox,etc... That is hard to find...

I also blame Magazines like Maxim that feed into a guy culture that is titlated by excessively bronzed women (the photos are possible the fakest looking ever) while offering glib articles on man "culture"...

I was a fan of Tech TV earlier in the decade until it was bought out.. and the smart people from San Francisco were replaced with a bunch of oversexed LA based Gamers who offered programming of little substance. The Smart brainy girls from tech TV suddenly had to start appearing more whorish... Now my dude friends look up to women like Megan Fox with her fake tits, meaningless tattoos, crass humor (she once mentioned at a sci fi award how far she could fit the long award up her yoohoo) and just her promotion of dumbvs someone as reserved smart and responsible as Alizee...

I have no plans to marry, nor do i want any children. Marriage can be great in a fairy-tale situation, but i love freedom. Not being married is not being tied down by the matrimonial chains. I can do what i want, go where i want. I won't ever get restless.

Traditional values fading fast, high divorce rates, High risk/low reward. At least 70 % chance she will have the kids and you will get the stretch marks. Makes no socio-economic sense. Not an enditement of women. Both sexes have played integral roles in this outcome of societal mayhem.

I view marriage as just a "seal-the-deal" ideal.

If there's love that's really all that matters.
Some people want marriage just as a fail-safe.

True, masculinity is out nowadays. Remember the days when men were supposed to be hairy and that was seen as attractive? Now women like a man with a full body wax and sometimes even makeup. Booooo!

There are two questions a man must ask himself-1. Where am I going 2. Who's going with me. When a man gets these questions backwards is when what you describe happens. Well, not to agree with body wax and overt care of oneself.
But as a self-proclaimed metrosexual I must say I do adore having nice skin, nice hair, and an overall clean feel.
