And, for what it's worth, I think Ben is right. Of course, Chuck knows all of this and after working on this for so long, I'm sure he will use every available means once the attempt actually commences.

Hmm yeah personally I think "Bonne Année" would work better as it's not like Christmas, if you put "Joyeux Noêl" you will pretty much have to send the letter next week to be sure it reaches her in time.
Bonne Année still works a month later here, people even tend to get annoying with it: "Well, see you next year HAHA!" "Yeah... on monday..." Bonne Année gets old when you still hear it in late January. But if there is something you should put in the letter it's definitely this. For example, "Bonne Année et meilleurs voeux pour 2010." (Happy new year and best wishes for 2010) Well something like this, I'm sure you can work something out. Either way, it's kind enough to be special, the presentation is great and the logo plus the signatures will draw her attention. ------------------------- On the bold words, I agree that it should be kept to a minimum, "Yelle" and "Psychédélices" should be left alone, so she won't be disturbed by these words while reading the first paragraph. When I first read the letter, my eyes were instantly drawn by the bold words, which made me lose track for a second and discover the third paragraph before the first one, I hope it's not too nitpicky. But you get what I mean. Anyhow, once again good job with the letter, I would picture the writer (Chuck?) trying his best, bugging his mind to find the right words.

@ Chuck let me state the obvious, the majority of us do appreciate your efforts and time spent in this project. The same goes to all of those that have helped Chuck and those who have contributed by voicing your suggestions etc. I'm absolutely sure Ben appreciates your contributions to this community, and I'm pretty sure when Alizée reads this letter she will appreciate it as well, whether she response or not. As far as the delay, it's actually good in a way that this letter has delayed because it has helped keep this community busy while they wait for Alizée's new album to come out.... Great Job !!

And I have to agree with Ben that we shouldn't have anything which dates the letter. Who knows how long it will take to get to Alizée? If we're sending it to the official address, it could take months, if ever.
