Well that took you long enough, joking. I know you think I have something against you or at least you've implied that, but I don't. I do agree and disagree with you and others from time to time, what can I say I have a mind of my own. Anyways, my most sincere congrats on your new book Deep, and also my best wishes to you on this new year. May this be a stepping stone for things to come for you, all the best !!

Tell me about it.
Thing is, we're living in a transition time, and I only just now caught up with it. The traditional publishing path is a thing of the past. The publishing company and literary agent are on the way out, and self-publishing is going to become the norm, now that e-books and print-on-demand and marketing via the Internet let an author self-publish at no cost, literally. But I kept trying to do it the old-fashioned way, find an agent, find a publisher, sign a contract. My own fault. I could have done this months ago. I wrote a long piece on that subject as my first blog entry (see link below). Quote:

http://www.amazon.com/Enlightenment-...dp/0195390660/ Oh and a member of Alizée-Forum published this novella awhile back, the main character inspired a bit by Alizée (he actually named her Amelie!): http://www.amazon.com/Demon-Within-Q...dp/0978900707/ Sorry for the thread-hijack, Deep! I did just get an Android phone, so could use the e-reader on that for your book... But still think I'll wait for a hardcopy. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to certain things, and the thought of laying in bed with a phone holds no appeal. |

Anyway, Deep, the "preview" gives me the first 252 pages which is supposedly the first 30% of the book. Or is that the whole thing. Because I really want the book!

I think 252 pages is probably the whole book, but you won't be able to go through all 252 pages without buying it.

The page count seems to vary between formats.

Correct. However, I'm sure in no format does the book run to 840 pages, so that 252 count is probably the whole thing. Unless there's a bug in the system, though, he should only be able to read through about page 75 for free.
