I was a fan before I knew what Moi... Lolita was

I had stumbled upon the "L'Alizé" video... she pulled the stare of eternal death and destiny on me....

Needless to say I'd trade Mes Courants Électriques, Psychédélices, and Une Enfant du Siècle... just to keep Gourmandises, and you can take that to the bank

Plaz, Mid-west - Too rude. Coff, coff, coff, coff...

Me, I know I'm an Alizée fan because - well you know how songs get stuck in your head? And usually you wish that would stop? Well in my case, they're almost always Alizée songs now, and I don't mind it a bit.

It was in the lyrics to ML. I think the blame goes to Mylène.

Wink Improvements in the "Alzabet"

I have now made what I hope you will agree are some improvements in the "official" Alzabet.

BTW, I hardly dreamt ANY unusual word from Alizée's eponymous song would be judged to be obscure.

As for "optional equipment," I think anyone would be happy to trade it for Annily - and maybe even save it for Jérémy, the Alpha-loup! But with its certain demise enters Hey! Amigo! - a most venerable choice, even if it all but "popped the cherry" on using more than single words, a liberty I thereafter exploited with unbridled lust! I toyed with using Handbag instead, but it is an English word (the French is "sac à main") and I wanted to remain "en français" when not using proper nouns. Besides, I shudder to think what SOME of you might have said about Lilly's "sac"!!! Especially the gay fans! ;o)

Nutella gave it up for Le Petit Caporal. Gosh, is everyone from there short?

Vent gave us enough meteorological coverage, so Ouragan got blown away by Ordinateur.

I think Lilly's French vowels are cute, but Feefty can't obstruct the chance for Fée Clochette to take a bow. And Seeksty bought the farm, because, face it, without San Pedro, we might all be in Palookaville now!

Now, with San Pedro covering the Mexican front, Isla could morph into the truly obligatory Île de Beauté.
Speaking of geography, the three variations on the prénom Lilly became our Shangri-La, Lilly town.

As compound words are no longer taboo, Rouge was reunited with Poisson, making space for Rose.

My biggest disappointment remains the letter K! Originally, in the picture book version, Kilometer was illustrated with a still-shot from the last scene of the Moi Lolita music video. (Don't even ask about the letter H! ;o) ) But it was too weakly linked to our favorite chanteuse. So, in desperation, I have decided to accept a "C" in spelling and trade the hard letter "C" in Abracadabra for the homophonic "K", thus Kadabra. Any better ideas?

Wink (for elderly fans only)

You know you're an Alizée fan when...

...you think of Ed Sullivan for the first time in three decades, and ONLY because he always promised to exhibit "a really big shoe" for a whole hour each week.

Postscript:
Blondie also inspires me a lot. - Alizée
(The mystical connection for this is here.)

I just did this on my sisters ipod in the car.

That's how I found Yelle on my cousin's Ipod

I was ecstatic!
