JEAM was the video I saw first, linked off of the WoW dances video that Jalen posted above...but the one that really hooked me and turned me into a fan was this one:
I'm pretty sure I've watched it more than all the JEAM performances combined. Imagine how crushed I was when I delved deeper and discovered that a) it was a cover of a France Gall song, and b) that she'd never recorded it for an album, or indeed ever sang it again. It's OK, though--soon after I discovered JPVA, and that made everything better. Hmm...I see what you're driving at, but I think so yeah. I know I'm in the minority, but Decollage and the reorchestrated JPVA and Moi...Lolita really, really appeal to me...and she looks positively radiant performing Par Les Paupieres in concert. I agree that the effect would have been different, but I still think the end result would have been the same. Who can really say, though?

Probably the ones that have the best chances of doing that would be "Love is All", "Hung Up", and the MJ performance. Whereas Gourmandises or MCE.. ALL OF 'EM!!

That was exactly the same thing that happened to me! When I first saw the JEAM video I could say for certain that I was going to become a fan, now here I am |

I was searching for something related to her on youtube not long before joining this forum, and listened to Hey Amigo and VVV. I had listened to all songs from Gourmandises and MCE a few months before and didn't like them so much the first time.
I am sometimes certain I won't like a song after I listen to it just once but this example show I can be wrong. That's why it's not easy to get others to like my favorite music. If they listen to a song and don't like it, I can't convince them to give it a second chance, which could make them change their opinion. |

I wish people would constantly give some music a second chance to make a good impression on them...music takes time to grow...
