At first, I hated all the songs of psychedelices, but now I love it. So had I jumped to the conclusion that all the songs of psychedelices sucked due to my first impression, I would've missed out on a good album.

Besides, maybe you find it to be a terrible songs, but others may genuinely like it, or like me, waiting to make their decision later.
another piece of wisdom from Wasabi... you sir cease to amaze me!

We can't expect her to have the same success she had in the beginning. For her, I would like a different kind of success: one that is based more on artistic credibility, not necessarily on sales. I think it would be a good move to get into the underground scene. In my opinion, those are some of the most loyal fans one can have.

We have to remember that this is a concept album. It's going to be a little strange. This doesn't mean that should she release a new album after UEDS that it will also be like this.
I'm afraid her career depends on her forthcoming album "Une Enfant Du Siecle"

She might lose the fans that gave her a second chance after the failure of Psychedelices. Many already left after this.

You can't maintain a career based on a few "die-hard" fans like us

I can see some truth in this, though of course, you've neglected the new fans that this different style might bring in.

Then again, I'm not sure if the incoming new fans can make up for the leaving fans(not saying that the album will chase away her fans).

yeah same here: i dont think the new album will make fans not like her and i am sure that she will gain lots of fans that love this album.

Ok, so I'm late to the party, but hey, I came.

I just ordered it. I love the preview of Limelight, and the little video. The little video has that "80s James Bond movie opening credits" feel. The song too, but I love it. I was avoiding the act of listening to the song before I ordered the album, though you might not believe me. So yeah, I'm just now listening to it, and I enjoy it very much, and its hard to describe. It had a funky feeling to it for the first few seconds but then I really started to love it. Now I really can't wait for the rest!

Fans recycle, some faster than others.
I'm sure she knows this, so she has to follow the trends her heart says she wants to follow.
Knowing full well, the lifeline ends here for many, and begins for others.

Great song. I assume Cheatau Marmont is behind it, it very much sounds like them anyhow. And they only made 4(?) songs, so it will be interesting to hear what the other guys have done. Rob's music, from what i've heard, sounds quite different from CM.
And if you can't hear it's Alizée singing you're deaf.
