An angel, I thought, come to take me to heaven, or a hallucination on the threshold of death. Everything about her was so familiar and so very beautiful, dark eyes as gentle as a kiss, and a smile like the Goddess might have if She were made flesh. The night was cloudy and there was no moon, but moonlight played about her and on her old-fashioned jacket, stylish some ten years past. She touched my face. Ah, I recognize this from Stairway to Nowhere. I'm really liking it Deep, and if anyone out there hasn't done it yet, I recommend you buy Deep's book.

Anyways, that photo is one that I really do like.

Thanks, Lefty.

The somewhat spooky thing is that this picture could have come from my description of Dolphin quoted above except that Alizée isn't smiling here. The mist, the light effects, the clothes, the hair, the visual suggestion of magic, it all fits. I imagined Correl looking up in his beat-half-to-death daze and seeing an image very much like that walking towards him out of the sea.

That thought occurred to me the first time I saw this photo. And yes, I really like it, too. I think those who don't like it (or the others) so much are used to looking at pictures of Her Grace and thinking, "Wow, she's so beautiful," and that's not the first reaction with these. But I don't think it's supposed to be. She's going for a different, more artistic effect here.

I like the colors they chose for the backgrounds, I think it fits well with what she's wearing.

Honestly, if someone told me that the very first picture was a picture of a barbie doll with a purple hat on, and I'd believe it.

Tiny body, plastic looking skin. Interesting look regardless.
