I was rewatching "Zombieland" the other night - I love that one! But strangely, this time it also reminded me of "Idiocracy". Now there's a great movie. Mike Judge. The genius behind "Beavis and ButtHead", which is now going to be coming back to mtv.

Just seen Kick-Ass. Pretty sweet, I thought. Very inspiring. Now please excuse me, I think I'm gonna go make suit and whoop me some ass now .

Oh.my.God.

I cannot believe that Christian Bale would do that to his body. I don't care how this comes across, but he had am amazing body, and he took that body, and just savagely murdered it for this movie. And to think that this was just 6 months before the Dark Knight.. wow.

Moving beyond Christian Bale's body, the movie itself was fairly good. It was sort of predictable to an extent but not too much that it ruins the movie. It entertained me.

7/10

Seriously:

And in six months, to this:

Poor guy never heard of Ambien.

I kid...hehehe. But yeah, that's pretty nuts for him to do that much to himself for a movie. But hey, that's why he gets paid the big bucks.

I don't like him as Batman, btw. He's alright as Bruce Wayne but when he tries to make his voice sound deeper and more intimidating as Batman, it's just really funny.

THE SHINJUKU INCIDENT

Pretty good. Though, not a bit of kung fu. Jackie Chan, in a movie, and not a bit of kung fu (in fact, she seemed pretty weak) was a major change, but he pulled it off well. It was dubbed of corse, but Jackie did his own English dubbing. So at least it seemed natural.

A great martial arts drama about a Chinese kung-fu master who teachers the citizens of his village how to defend themselves against the Japanese who take control of China in the 1930's.

It's as the name implies, about a suicides amongst Japanese students.. I was kind of mehhed by it. It had the same guy from Audition and The Grudge. But overall a very mediocre movie.

6/10
