- at their closest, the show buildings for Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland are only a few feet apart from each other
- The autopia cars used to run on diesel, were able to run when not on the track, and thus raced on Main Street early in the mornings, much to the dismay of Walt Disney
- Space Mountain is one of the only rides at Disneyland in which the entire queue and ride are completely contained within it's seen building (with the exception that the whole thing is set 17 feet underground, so as not to dwarf the fairly near Matterhorn Mountain)
