Either way you're looking at pistol vs. rifle cartridge. Like I said not a whole lot better, maybe a couple hundred FPS

In a fire fight, combat power is what wins. And in this case, the enemy has insane advantage.

More fire power(high powered weaponry and man power), more maneuver capabilities, more sustainability(ammo), and more control.

Also, it's 15 9mm rounds against 30 7.62 NATO rounds.
Maximum effective range of 50 meters against about 400 meters.

A dozen or so AK47s > 2 M9s.

Maybe not so in terms of cartridge quality, but in combat, most definitely.

Seriously, is this even debatable?

Exactly what I was saying maybe I should have specified MP5 not being much better than a 92f. The MP5 getting maybe another hundred FPS over the Beretta. FWIW the AK47 typically fires a 7.62X39 not a 7.62 Nato which is quite the difference.

I totally misunderstood what you were saying there. You were talking about the MP5 vs the M9. That would be a my bad.

Hahaa, why would they do that?

They're not infantry, they're pilots. It's not their job to fight on the ground. It's sort of like how straight leg infantry troops don't carry parachutes.

Besides, Apaches aren't exactly the roomiest of helicopters. (In terms of personal possessions.)
