I was surprised to see this thread moved. MA has been a huge part of this forum and to see it moved to an off topic forum seems to tirivialize what he has done for us.

Don't know who moved it, but where was it before? And shouldn't it have been in off-topic initially since it is not Alizée related?

To say a topic about MerciAlizee and all he's done for this forum (which is all about Alizee) isn't about Alizee, is like saying the the earth is flat.

It's a flat circle of course dummy, how else do you think the geographical maps they show you in school are described as "accurate".. This whole "science", it's all mumbo-jumbo!

Seriously though, I agree, there has been more irrelevant threads in Alizée-discussion before.

It's a topic about a member of the forum. Unless that member is Alizée herself then it shouldn't be in the Alizée discussion section.

Maybe there should be a section where certain members can be talked about or recognized for their importance/accomplishments.

Hmm...very good suggestion!

But Scruff, I'll just say my view and see if you can see what I mean when I said that. And I of course wasn't saying MerciAlizee and all he's done isn't important or anything.

View: To be honest I don't see why it matters where the thread about him is. I just care that the thread was made and that people showed their appreciation for all he is done by all the comments they have made in the past 3 pages including your's and mine. The fact that people appreciate him should be what is focused on, not where the thread just so happens to be.

But anyway, I don't want to start something over something small.
