"Factory Girl" album on iTunes
I was doing a search of Alizee on iTunes and came across something very interesting. There is an album listed by Alizee called "Factory Girl". Upon inspecting the list of songs on the album, it is, apparently, UEDS under a different name with a different album cover. Apparently, UEDS has been released in North America as "Factory Girl".

I wasn't aware that UEdS was released in North America at all, in any form. Who is that on the cover and why isn't it Alizee..? That cover looks "cheap" D:
Also the song labeled "Grand Central" and "Limelight" are the same song. What gives iTunes?

I've seen this happen before with other artist albums and singles i'm not sure exactly why ....cause i've seen Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance series labeled as volumes 1-8 instead of the real title ASOT 2011 etc... but i think it happens because sometimes it's distributed through a different label...

William F Cook / TuneCore Albums I'm not prepared to look into this right now, but TuneCore seems highly suspicious. This could be an unauthorised, possibly illegal release of Alizée's music that someone else is collecting money from.

TuneCore helps musicians get their music distributed through outlets such as iTunes. That's about all I know of it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TuneCore
I wonder if someone submitted Alizée's music to them, claiming it to be their own, and TuneCore failed to determine the rightful copyright holders. If Alizée or her team submitted it, then I would expect the album artwork to have her picture on it, even if they decided to change the name. Yes, it is all very suspicious. Edit: I see it's available at Amazon too. http://www.amazon.com/Factory-Girl/d...72290&sr=301-4

I still can't beleive that this illegal "Factory Girl" album is still up.
To those of you who are experienced in the field of music and copyright laws (Lefty, umm...others) we should write a legitimate letter to iTunes stating the reasons why it should not be allowed on iTunes. This is a chance to do some awesome detective work!
