Toying with the Idea of converting a .308, 7mm/08, or .243 Savage Axis into a .338 Federal. Toss in a Timney trigger and a decent scope and I think I could have one sweet brush and large game gun for under 800 Regards, Jung |

So I got my bayonet and lug today. Was really expecting it sometime after Christmas, so that was a very pleasant surprise. I'll post a picture of it with the bayonet when I get the chance to actually put it on.
Looks like I'll use this site in the future, should the need arise. Last edited by WhiteFeather; 12-24-2011 at 04:37 PM.. |

If I could shoot half as well as your dog, I'd be pretty darn good.
By the way, ever hear of Varmint Grenade ammo? <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/sYigC49tnh8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I cannot stop laughing at :57. Last edited by WhiteFeather; 12-28-2011 at 04:45 PM.. |

I guess I use FMJs on varmints for the most part, then again I'm usually using a .30 cal of some sort . On a side note I put money down on a Winchester 1892 in .357 magnum recently. Just what I've been looking for a long time, they are a bit pricey though.
