One of the related videos that I've never seen before either:

Damn she was so cute back then!

And her voice was much higher too, but maybe that's just due to the song.

Isn't it fun to discover new stuff? I was very happy to find those 2001-2002 Enfoires performances, also. I just saw another one the other day that I'd never seen before of early Enfoires, If I find it, I'll put it up for you.
I think I like these a lot because they are from a time before Alizée had ever done any live singing, except for Graines de Stars. To my ears, young Lily sounded great, holding her own with some very accomplished singers.

Cool stuff, keep up the Necromancing/discovery, Wasabi.

She does sound great. I wasn't aware that she had been doing Les Enfoires for so long, I thought she had recently started doing that post-Psychedelices. It was nice to see some new footage from the Gourmandises-era!

And thank you. I shall continue to necromance for as long as I can type.

Wasabi622 then you'll enjoy her first Les Enfoires in 2001.

[A couple of weeks ago I started a thread called Enfoirepedia. It only had one view, but here's what it said.

I clicked on it and found they have a page where you can sort by artists, song or show (year). Then it will show you the "interpreted" songs which I guess is any song that they participated in which they had a segment where they sang by themselves, which in some cases might only be a line or two.

Then they had "songs accompanied" which they more or less just sang along with a bunch of other singers. I'm showing a list of the interpreted songs. The list of accompanied songs is too long to show.

I don't know if this Enfoirepedia is new or if it's more likely I never noticed it before. Anywho, I posted a message about it in the vote for your favorite LE performance thread, but I thought it should have it's own thread to make it easier to search for in the future.

Here are a couple of performances our newer members might not be familiar with.

One song I found trouble finding a video for was La demoiselle. I found this video of poor quality, but I'm not sure if it's the one, because it's hard to say if Alizee is in it.

<iframe frameborder="0" width="480" height="360" src="http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/x12u4x"></iframe><br /><a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x12u4x_enfoires-07-jenifer-jeune-demoisell_music" target="_blank">Enfoires 07 Jenifer Jeune Demoiselle</a> <i>by <a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/gigag" target="_blank">gigag</a></i>

In the 2008 Fan video, there's an awesome scene of her jumping that would make a great gif if there's not already one out there for it.

Scruffydog, I commented on the post as a great find and was surprised that there were no comments after mine.

I think people who saw the name of the thread probably didn't have an idea of what it was about. I should have selected a better title. I should have sensationalized it like the newspapers do when they say something like "Giant spider attacks Manhattan!". Now most people would consider a 4 inch spider a giant spider and if a spider that size bit someone living in Manhattan, that head line, though misleading would be more or less correct, in a sense. I could've of put " A collection of all the pictures of Alizee when she was at the White house." Of course there are no pictures of that, because she's never been there, but people would be somewhat intrigued by it and click on it, and then be exposed to " the rest of the story".

Scruffy, can you still change it to that? Or how about "Beautiful French girl smokes cigars at White House"? Or better still, "Alizée stops presidential assassination attempt, subdues perps, appeared to be flying on wings sprouting from shoulderblades"? You could get tons of hits, and I don't think anyone would be too disappointed or disgruntled.

I was listening to this in the car a lot recently (road trippin' down to Illinois - ugh.), and I'm glad you posted it, ALS, 'cause I've got a question...

...They changed the original song to be a tribute not to rock but to a number of French Chanteurs - great old bygone singers - and one guy is featured in each verse. One I've picked out is where Alizée finishes her verse (abt 5:22), singing "et Joe Dassin a chanté", then they launch into a bit of Joe's song "Et si tu n'existais pas". But do you (or anyone) know who the other singers named in the other verses are? Or what the other songs are? Some of em are pretty cool. But I'm not figuring this out, my (francophonic) ears aren't quite where they should be for this kinda work. Plus I don't know that many old French singers. Any help?

Wow. She sounds great! Such confidence at such a young age. If I was on stage on like..

Interesting how she sings at a deeper tone back then, than she does now.
