Memes, which were theorized by Richard Dawkins in the 1970's, are the societal counterpart to "genes." Genes make up our physical identity, and memes make up our societal identity. This meaning seems to have been dumbed down by more recent memes.

Don't you love it when people get into arguments over things they know nothing about? Plus the whole graphics debate is a joke in it of itself. Graphics do not make a game. Story, gameplay, sound/music and overall experiences do. There are some SNES games that are infinitely superior to some Xbox/PS3 games, despite having "inferior graphics."

By the way, I agree. Big Bang Theory sucks.

Because "maxing out" is the whole point of every game ever.

That's another thing that pisses me off: people who fly through every game trying to win or "max out" (as the case may be) without taking the time to absorb all the details and such, and then say the game itself sucks when they walk away feeling unsatisfied. The game doesn't suck, YOU suck! There are environments to be explored, music to listen to, secrets to uncover, so many other things that the game developers made for us to enjoy. Video games can be a form of art.

I got into a fight with a kid once because of this. He was insisting that Twilight Princess was superior than Ocarina of Time. I broke a blood vessel somewhere in my face when he refused to attempt playing StarCraft because the second one "with better graphics" would be coming out soon.... (by "soon," he meant six months)

Yea. I'm willing to bet I've put more hours into Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations than I have every other game I've ever played combined.
