Think of it as the Men in Black, but instead of aliens they contain/study any and all odd phenomena (a barn door that opens up multiple dimensions depending on the key used to open it, a shadowy figure that immediately consumes any matter that casts a shadow on it, scury shit like that).

The best way I can describe it is as tons of fan-written creepypasta, but are unbelievably well written and very convincing.

They're super fascinating to read, but because it's me I'll overanalyze and overthink them til I go mad.


I've only gone through the first hundred or so out of two thousand, but the ones that have screwed with me the most:

1. SCP-087 (it takes a lot to make me afraid of something, and I'm still physically anxious even thinking about this one)
2. The Vermin King
3. SCP-173 (goddamnit morbid channel)


For me it's not just one or a few of them that have be freaked out, it's having read so many and having so many ideas in my head and being afraid of how they'd manifest in a dream.

They are making a game too. Right now I believe it's still in alpha and kinda buggy, but its still pretty creepy.

I just like hearing this guy get freaked out. It's pretty funny and takes the edge off.

Am I the only one here who thinks this SCP stuff is kinda cool? I don't find it scary at all. It's an interesting idea.

They're all interesting as balls and written extremely well, my only issue with it was that I got too into it in too short of a period of time and for a split second believed it was real... just like I did with Lost and Legend of Zelda.

I do really like that youtuber though, he's funny and he makes the games more interesting (in some cases, less terrifying).

Don't know how, don't know why, but somehow I've now associated "Outside of a Small Circle of Friends" with SCP, being locked in the SAW bathroom, endings of Goosebumps books, and general psychological fear/horror.

I was watching his Downpour series. It was a whole lot less scary and a whole lot more funny than I remember it being when I played it.

It's been too long since I've read one. I have like 20 of the normal ones and as I recall, all of the Give Yourself Goosebumps book which I was quite fond of (tip: if you get to a page where you die, it doesn't count if you had your finger in the previous page)

I think my favorite 'normal' book was the one where the kid's dad turned into a plant or something

Ahhhh Goosebumps. I used to collect those books. The ones with the shiny "foil" covers....loved all the different colors the books and covers had. Never read a single one of of.

Used to watch the TV show though. That and Are you affraid of the dark. Loved that show.
