I think the actor in the reboot is a cutie, and he's passionate about the Spiderman comics, so I'm gonna save all judgement until I see him in action as Spiderman/Peter.. I think he will do the character justice.

Depends on what Peter Parker you are refuring to. Parker these days is really not that dweebie nor dorky. The older spiderman was like that, never really liked that spiderman.

The more modern spiderman is a super intelligent smart a$s, and pretty durn confident in himself, after all that Civil War ridiculousness at least.

Tobey Maguire seemed too confident and cool, even when he was supposed to be acting like a noob.

I lost interest in him after his horrible crying scene when Uncle Ben died. I cared more about the thought of Charlie Gordon dying than him losing an uncle... I've cried more realistic tears after licking a glass plate I used to microwave bacon on than the squirt bottle of piss he misted on his face to show how upset he was about Uncle Ben being shot with hershey's syrup.

Plus, the "good" Spiderman is supposed to be young and flimsy. I'm not giving the other Facebook guy all the credit just yet, but I think they're closer to the right track.

Sigh... I'm just depressed over waiting to see a live action Spiderman where Harry and Norman Osborn have red and black hair.
