I think it's kind of unfortunate they used a photo from an ablum that didn't go over too well.

But I do think this first single is about her own stuff.

TBH I see no problem with them wanting to protect their proprietary property until they are ready to officially make it public.

Wow! That cover is amazing! I like that she doesn't have a ton of make up, looks very natural, and very very pretty.

You can see her Sailor Moon tattoo. They are making my dream come true and going with the sexy seductress/vixen look. I can't believe Jeremy had her for 8 years. What a waste. And M. Pokora is clearly gay for not hooking up with that.
Oh, forgot to talk about the cover while my mind was wandering off. She looks like a young Jennifer Love-Hewitt there. I was going to say a menacing look, but that isn't the word. Like a maneater. Maneater: An irresistable woman who chews and spits out men after using them for some sort of gain -- be it sexual, financial or psychological. Used sometimes for women who has that influence on men to seduce them and then, throw them away. Last edited by JoeNY; 06-29-2012 at 02:33 PM.. |

I'd like to see a good translation of the song. Knowing what she is talking about would make me like it more but I can only really pick out a couple phrases in the song.
Also, JoeNY has a good point. I've never understood why the French are so obsessed with the singers we don't even consider to be "real" artists over here. I mean, have you heard Rihanna sing live? It's awful, seriously. I guess that's why I wanted Alizee to go more mainstream, so I hope that the rest of the album is a little more current. I think the one of the problems is that Alizee just doesn't have an image anymore. I dunno, the electro thing seemed pretentious to me, especially with all those weird photos. She may not be a "lolita" anymore, but the sexy thing works for her. She always manages to look very classy, so I don't think she needs to worry about it giving the wrong idea about her. It's funny what guys see as "natural makeup." She does look gorgeous though. |
