Well if this at face value is true, that the song was given to radio stations weeks ago and they chose not to broadcast it, then is basicly sounds like they are not impressed by the song, or it could just be that they are waiting til a certain date to start playing it. If the album isn't being released until October, maybe Sony doesn't want it to be played too soon.
If it's because they are not impressed, I've said before it's going to take a "very" good song to win over the French people and this song does not fall into that category by a long shot. They are not going to cut her any slack, they are not going to give her any breaks.
If they want more than just a handful of French people to show up at that autograph session, they better put out next, what they think is the best song on this album. It is not yet carved in stone that this album will be released, but I'm staying optimistic, mainly because I would think a major company like Sony should know what they are doing and they should have, the experience, the resources, the know how on how to make this album a success.
