Sundial Update
Digging up the past here, but I never quit!
Here is a screen cap from the unofficial ACDLA clip. I just found this image on the internet, but it doesn't give the location. One step closer! Last edited by Ray4AJ; 08-16-2015 at 03:25 PM.. Reason: replacing imageshack links |

Great work Ray.
I must have spent two to three hours using Google, Bing and Yahoo looking for that sun dial. Never even got close to finding it. Sometimes like in your case if you take some time off and search again you'll get lucky. Edit Here is the page it is from. Scroll to the bottom for the image. art-corse-du-sud And the picture didn't get posted to the net until Wednesday, March 27, 2013 7:37:22 PM

Correct. I wonder if the webmaster for that site can ask the photographer where that sundial is.
And that date explains why it came up now but not before. Funny thing though, the image came up at the top of my search. Google.fr must have us profiled. |

Final Sundial Update - Found!
Found - Sundial!
Remember this? I became inspired again this evening after finding this event: http://www.ca-ajaccien.fr/non-classe...i-corticchiato (It was a walking tour of old mills outside the village where some of the scenes from the unofficial ACDLA clip were filmed.) So I started searching again, and within minutes located this image via Google street view: closer, with the lighting tweaked: Where it is: The top of the orange triangle points to the house. More info about the other places in that town from the clip in this post: http://alizeeamerica.com/forums/show...0&postcount=43 What to find next? Last edited by Ray4AJ; 08-16-2015 at 03:29 PM.. Wow, I never thought that sundial would be found!! I admit I did quite a bit of searching back then. I don't know why, but I really wanted to find that sundial. I assumed ALS would be the one to find it.
Thanks Ray, and congrats on a job well done !
