I can't understand why this single was not as successful as Maman a tort. With these catchy lyrics and Laurent's composition it clearly should have been. I really like it. What a pity that it even was not included on Cendres de Lune.

Great song but IMHO it and the rest of CDL tracks would not have made a consistent match. It's nothing but my opinion, though.

Libertine does not fit to the other songs from the album. Neither the light and 'disco' composition nor the 'easy-to-understand' lyrics (not the Mylène's one, that's why). But that was her greatest song at that time, so it had to be included. But it's not the only one example, many of her songs from the same album don't fit to each other.
