Wouldn't the HD be the standard in 2018?

Someone would have to capture it from the broadcast, or find an HD replay to record.

EDIT -

Additionally, there aren't any clips we haven't all seen already in this program. None of them were originally in HD so if the program was broadcast in HD all the clips would just be upscaled and distorted anyway.

I don't know exactly what was said about the song or about Alizée but I can't imagine it was anything we don't know.
