I can't imagine her being so foolish as to sign such a long-term agreement. Thanks for coming up with all this information on what happened. I'm glad I decided against going down there and so didn't put any money into it. This is the second time, I decided against traveling a long distance to see her, and then the venue was canceled. The first was her blond concert in Paris. AIFC |

Alizee doesn't seem to have the best of luck career-wise since Mylene. I would love to see her in concert, and it would be one that I would pay up for front row. But the cancellations can really be expensive when long distance travel is involved. |

Hello All,
Im from Mexico and being a fan of Alizee since 2007, I first saw her during her Psychedelices tour in Mexico in 2008 and purchased tickets for this concert as soon as they were available so its sad to know things didnt work out as expected for any of the 3 parties being Alizee, the promoter and last but not least the fans, its bad that this things happen, unfortunately the ones that take the bigger hit are those fans that not only purchased the tickets and despite the fact the are refunded as in the previous posts was stated Im sure not a few also purchased plane tickets, hotel accomodation etc. and that is an automatically loss. I really hope she can re-schedule on the short-term, Im really honest by saying that even if my country is not the safest place that doesnt mean she need 100 Cyborgs as bodyguards to come here. Saludos! |

I didn't want to say anything but some of us were getting a little bit carried away Happy to see that the issue seems to be resolved. I hope there is still something in the works in terms of an appearance. |

I did think your Cyborg comments was quite funny! I heard Cyborgs work cheap, so why stop at just a couple of them when you can get 100? I don't think anybody meant to offend the overwhelming majority of the people of Mexico who live by the law in our discussion of security concerns in Mexico. However, it is well known that outside the major cities and resorts, it is not a safe place for Americans. I don't think anybody implied that there are shootouts in the streets of Mexico City where Alizee might be caught in the crossfire - you would have to come to the U.S. for that (I'm kidding) When I think of bodyguards for celebrities, I think of two or three big guys that escort the celebrity to ensure the celebrity can move from point A to point B by ensuring that a path is cleared for walking, keeping fans from getting too close to the point where the celebrity is uncomfortable, keeping the celebrity on schedule, that kind of thing. I had posted in another thread that if a situation came up while in Mexico that could cause Alizee some harm, she would have the fans themselves willing to do what it takes to keep her safe. |

As CleverCowboy, said....thanks TonyZ. I had mentioned at least 2 body guards which is what you'd want no matter where you went and my security concerns for her would be the same if she was running around New York city.

Cowboy & Scruffy, my thoughts exactly as far as security. In this country she would need it as well—particularly in the cities like NY, as Scruffy mentioned. And security would be necessary not only for personal safety but, as Cowboy says, for her comfort & convenience. Even people who mean her no harm might get too close, and crowds of fans can be intimidating for a celebrity, as well as impeding her movements.

Here she is in Mexico in 2008. It doesn't take a huge mob of people to make thinks chaotic. The bodyguards keep Alizee moving.

Woow! Where'd you find this video? That's one I've never seen before. No wonder she spoke of her bodyguards when she got back to France. The line outside the theater appeared to run for five or six blocks. I doubt her childhood prepared her for this kind of excitement and hysteria.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1i0...9AZOTeFUFJTvb4 The middle picture that you posted reminds me of just how petite Alizee is, sitting next to a pretty big guy, but can you imagine her next to an NFL lineman? She is pretty tiny. Maybe that is part of the reason why men are very protective of her. I think what is so great about the video is that the bodyguards are shuffling Alizee around and the escape from the parking garage sounds like a bank heist, and there she is smiling and waving to the crowd chasing the car. I really like parts 2 and 3 is a good glimpse of her personality, even waving to the cooks in the kitchen behind a plastic window. Golden. |
