It does sound like that!

Every time I listen to this now I hear "Young girl with eyes like potatas." I had to look up the lyrics to find out what Alizee was really singing. "Desert" The word is "desert." "Eyes like the desert."

If a girl looked at you with "eyes like a desert" would that be a good sign? A desert is a vast empty nothing. That doesn't sound promising. But a desert IS hot. Now we're talking.

As Alizee sings this song, it's difficult not to notice her eyes are definitely not potatas.
