Here is one of yours that uses the same J'en Ai Marre remix that I probably account for 5% of the hits. I think it's pretty hilarious and surprised it didn't do better. Last edited by CleverCowboy; 03-08-2018 at 07:50 PM.. |

LOL....you found the football one. I thought it would do better...oh well.
Here are my picks.... I'd have to say L'Alize is number one. It's a great song to sing along with once you learn the meaning. After that there are so many that are so close. 2 JAM 3 ACC 4 ML 5 Youpido - I love the way she pronounces some of the English words. It's a simple song but has a great beat. 6 Gour 7 Coeur deja pris. I actually think this is the most beautiful song, but it's a sad song, not upbeat, so that drops it down. 8 Amelie - both versions are great 9 Hey Amigo 10 Lui ou toi It's really hard to set the order. There were so many great songs imo, on those first 2 albums. |

Here are my favourite songs. I don't consider this to be a classification because everyone of them makes me feel something different and if you asked me the same thing next month, I would probably change the order of some of it (except for the first two places). So
1~ J'en ai marre, I like to listen to it when I'm on the bed: I close my eyes and enter a magical world of peace and happiness. It makes you forget about everything else. 2~ Moi... Lolita, this songs made me know Alizée and it's very special to me À contre-courant Toc de mac L'e-mail a des ailes (en concert) Gourmandises L'Alize Lilly town Fifty-Sixty Par les paupières (it is really similar to JEAM from a certain point of view). Making this """"top 10"""" reminded me why I am not able to organize her songs in different playlists... It is too hard to discard one of them (especially the ones from the first 3 albums)

I have to change my top pick. Even though for me J'en ai Marre, L'Alize, ML and ACC are right at the top, I find the song I never tire of listening to is the English Youpidou, even though MF did a poor job of rewriting the French version into the English version, I still love the way she pronounces many of the English words, such as streets, loss, lost, something, talking, walking not to mention mon chouchou.
My favorite part of the song is at about the 2:42 mark where the music builds up to last part of the song with a great finish. https://youtu.be/MHJXsio4IqE?t=162 and as the case with several of her songs, even when I'm just listening to them, I can still picture her dancing and I love the way she danced in this portion of the song... https://youtu.be/MHJXsio4IqE?t=223 It's really a shame that MF couldn't have written some better English songs for her. |

Youpidou is a great song and the English version is really enjoyable. It is my favourite En concert performance together with JEAM and JPVA. I think that dance has something special. Maybe because it has been performed only once (I mean in only one kind of event).
BUT... This enchants me every single time.

I really like so many of her songs, but lately my favorite is when she sings
Ella Elle L'a on this YouTube. It's a Beautiful song which Alizee sings and performs flawlessly! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jlYB5ielJ8 |
