Video editing software for Windows 7 ??
I'm interested in making a few Alizee videos.
Is there good video editing software for Windows 7? (For a 12 year old laptop, actually.) Looking for basic features: fade to black, fade to white cross-fade slow motion (1/2 speed) Any suggestions? |

I work with Davinci Resolve 16 and I'm pretty happy with it, but I don't know how it would work on an old laptop. I hope someone else has some simpler solution. |

I use Cyberlink Power Director 14 which I believe cost about $125 several years ago. I have a computer I put together myself that has an i5-3570k cpu @3.4 ghz, 16 gb ram. I'm pretty happy with it. I don't do much with effects, I do more with just cutting and pasting , zooming and cropping, such as my video history video which I did many years ago when my skills were very lacking.
If you want to do more special effects, you might want to contact Robert Rhein if you have Facebook. He's made over a thousand videos using some good effects. He's struggled through some hard financial times in Florida so I doubt if he could afford a powerhouse of a machine so it might be interesting to find out what he uses. I just remembered another thing I do is put together videos where such as with Moi Lolita, I put all her performances in chronological order and I synced those clips with the music. and I did a similar thing with a remix which I thought came out well. Here's a section I liked..... https://youtu.be/ye5IKdEQK80 Then more recently I added clips from En Concert to K O from the Blonde album..... Far from perfect, but I'm surprised how well this worked out. Last edited by Scruffydog777; 05-06-2020 at 12:34 AM.. |
