Bayern Munich are champions of Europe
And there it is, a tight encounter full of heart-stopping moments and many close chances for both sides, Bayern snatch victory with a 1-0 win over PSG in the Champions League final.
It was the Frenchman Kingsley Coman who used to play for PSG that scored the winner with a header from the back post. Thoroughly entertaining, wanted PSG to win myself but it's well deserved by Bayern Munich who've completed the Treble for the second time in their history, last doing so in 2013. Phenomenal job from the manager Hansi Flick and the Bayern squad!

A magnificent achievement for Bayern!
Definitely, he is a supporter of Olympique de Marseille, rivals of PSG. |

There were some rumours going around that Tuchel could be sacked as PSG manager which I find bizarre. Yeah it's a team with high expectations, but to get Paris further than ever in the competition and deliver everything domestically only to get let go would be unnecessary. Either way though PSG will be even more desperate to win this thing in the coming seasons, now that they know what it's like to lose a final there'll be more motivation there. The idea that you usually have to lose a final before winning one seems to be true.

I do hope the players/fans win one in the coming years. They've been inching closer and closer and have dispelled the notion that they can only dominate in France but struggle in Europe. |

Shocking news about Messi, I really hope it's a strategy to get rid of Bartomeu as some have been reporting. To lose the best player in the world... I don't wanna think about it. We can recover, certainly, but I don't want to think about it.

I think you're right that this is a move to get Bartomeu out, but the saga keeps taking twists and turns all the time it's hard to know what's really going on. Some are speaking as if Messi has already left, whilst others are adamant he'll stay. There's so many sides to the drama with the president, board, players, Messi himself, fans and others. It's certainly an entertaining saga to view as a neutral but I imagine frustrating or stressful for all Barcelona fans.

So Messi stays after all, but unless we do spectacularly well... It's probably for the last season. Bittersweet news really.

If it's anything short of a Champions League trophy I think he's gone, domestic trophies are all well and good but he's already won plenty of La Liga's and Copa del rey's with Barcelona. I wish Barcelona the best to give Messi a proper send off, but given the state of the club even outside of Messi's situation I can't see it ending with Champions League glory, but good luck!
