Happy 4th everybody... stay safe, light some fireworks off, watch a display, do whatever makes you happy, and remember what it's all for.

This makes a background... if anybody wants me to, I can take of the Happy 4th so its just the picture.

Well said, Rocket. We can’t thank them enough.

I would also like to thank all the people who put out the fires, respond to emergencies, and who keep the streets safe.

I want to thank the ordinary citizens who go to work each day and help build this nation of ours.

I want to thank those that keep themselves informed, who stand up to be counted when things are wrong, who vote in elections and participate in our democracy.

I want to thank the artists, the dancers, the musicians, the actors and writers who enrich our culture.

I want to thank the scientists and the educators who contribute to our collective knowledge.

I would like to thank the people who commit random acts of kindness, and last but not least, I’d like to thank the peacemakers.

I have a friend who is a history major and also is studying to become a teacher. He had to come up with a teaching plan about the Revolutionary War. He used the first three movie titles of the Star Wars saga, but instead of Star Wars he changed it to Tea Wars. The three sections were titled:

I. Tea Wars: A New Nation
II. Tea Wars: The British Empire Strikes Back
III. Tea Wars: The Return of the Patriot
