No it was an election, a vote just like any other award. A grammy is based on votes. She won end of story. So what if only 40 people voted!!

In reality, this isn't the same as the Grammy's. While it is nice to see that Alizée won a poll, it means nothing. For one the only other half decent song was Somebody Told Me, and also very few people voted.

I was just on there and, so far, 98 people have voted. Alizee is running away with it by getting 62 of the votes.
