Let me start by saying that because of Alizée, I've learned to enjoy other things that I would have not been interested before. I feel I've been enriched with so much more ever since. She opened the door for me to a really big world, and also thanks to the members of this forum and others for sharing their knowledge and taste...

I was going to post this some time back, but decided to wait until after Alizée's new album came out. For those of you that are open to new music, other then in english and french. Here's a band that could possibly give Alizée some friendly competition on the Mexican Pop Charts. I say friendly because they've made some very nice comments about Alizée's music, they're currently loving Fifty Sixty, which is my favorite too. They're originally from Mexico, and currently touring. They came out with a new album this year too, their band name is Belanova. Here's a few samples from their new album, and two from the old one. well Belanova is a mexican electro-pop group

It´s really famous here in chile but the only pop music that i listen is Alizee

I hate pop and i will always hate it but Alizee´s pop i love it. it´s weird but ture

Hey! Glad some of you liked it... Can anyone make a poll for this to see who gives it thumbs up or thumbs down. Just a small note: this doesn't mean that I don't like Alizée anymore, I still love her and her music... This just means I'm more balanced, I think.

It great! I really love the sound of her music. The music is up-beat and catchy and she has a really pretty voice. Don't worry just because you listen to other artist, its not like it is a mortal sin on here, I am sure everyone on here loves other singers too.

You make an excellent point Jess. I've started listening to more international music as well thanks to Alizee. In fact I've already discovered 4 new artists/bands (French, Dutch, German) that otherwise I wouldn't of known about. I guess you could say she's given me that extra motivation to expand my musical taste.
