sure not problem, good pizzas in this bar plus corsican music in the evening there are many cool places downtown jenifer used to sell kinda donuts on the beach in porti poddu when she was younger, it's difficult to realize that she's so famous now cheers

LOL.
I'm liking the sound of Corse more the more I hear about it. The whole "star and fan" stuff is pretty silly really. It makes people less real. It's all illusion, wrapped around a kernel of reality, in that (say) Jenifer really has a great voice and can perform on stage like nobody's business. (Plus she's smokin' HOT.) She's talented and accomplished, but that doesn't make her a goddess, or make anyone else "unworthy to kiss her feet." Same with Alizée, of course. I've teased her about her English on occasion, so I can't think she's perfect and infallible. (Not that I have any right to, considering the quality of my French. But it seemed appropriate at the time.)

yep, I think privacy is an important thing here I was in a bar with a friend of mine a couple years ago and suddently we saw a tall man with his wife and kids with stupid french tourists around him trying to take pictures, the guy was polite and said "please no photographs" many times, so I asked my friend "who's that guy? why do those a**** wanna take pictures of him?" and my friend answered "it's because it's sylvester stallone" I think many locals recognized him as well but they felt like: it's sylvester stallone, so what? he's just a tourist among many others another friend of mine was in paris once and he saw a guy who was watching the crowd on the "grands boulevards", wearing an old baseball cap, sunglasses, old jeans, very casual look he was watching the crowd, smiling sometimes you meet ppl and you ask to yourself: I know this face, but where from? I'm sure I already saw this guy and then... he realized it was... then he stopped , walked towards him and said: hi bruce it was bruce willis, funny huh? just enjoying the fact that he was in a crowdy street and nobody was able to recognize him I think it must be pretty cool for a celebrity to feel anonymous sometimes voilà cheers Last edited by ajaccio corsica; 12-03-2007 at 12:00 PM..
