Yes, some people have jobs where they can get off on short notice. I probably could have pulled it off, but then no, I do not have a job.
You know what, this is probably the best possible month for not having a job. Hell, it's still hard keeping up with all the Alizée news. I've been totally out of it since like Saturday or Sunday trying to deal with this trip and stuff.

I used to be in a job like that where I could just take off almost any time I felt like it. Ahh those were the days

I'm in between jobs right now and do some part-time work from home just to keep busy and have some cash flow coming in. Gives me plenty of time to keep up with everything Alizee-related, but unfortunately I still wouldn't be able to make it. May have a new job anytime now.

Hmmm, you're military, right? Any chance they can do an expedited passport in like, 72 hours? I know I know, probably not, but worth a shot. Maybe there's a base in France that desperately needs an "official visit" next week?
