All we need now is a slow ballad with less agressive and sharp vocals and more of her sweeter side.
I love it! Driving, entrancing and relaxing, like so many Alizée songs.

While 50//60 is radio friendly, I definitely like Mademoiselle Juliette more. I'm looking forward to the ballads though.

Affidavit: I will buy the 3rd freakin' album.

I really recommend spending some time learning the language if you're going to continue listening to music in French. Song lyrics are poetry, and poetry really doesn't translate well. You can get some of the meaning of what she's singing, but the nuances don't come across. There's really no substitute.

If you're in a hurry, you can try running the lyrics through an on-line translator.

This song is very... lively. I like it a lot. It has a very minor tone to it too, something I'm a sucker for, and I dig the synth-pop style its in.

Being based on literature is just icing on the cake.

this song has that "tainted love" song feel to it (the "tainted love" version released a few years ago).

I couldn't agree more but I bet Alizée had alot of imput in the lyrics as she loves the story of Romeo and Juliette and has probably watched it in theatre numerous times.

With the right marketing, this is going to be HUGE!
Every once in a while I just get this urge to start chanting "A-li-zée... A-li-zée... A-li-zée" (think En Concert).

This is one of 'em!

She loves to jump around on stage and perform and play to a crowd. He first passion is dance and she originally wanted to be a dance intructor, not a singer. After For Me, Formidable, when she's dancing in the background to the Riverdance troup and trying to get Jenifer to do it with her, we can see a body that can't stand being still and yearns to get in there and dance to the music and have fun. Not only that, but I personally love watching Alizée's body in motion. While I can see that it certainly won't be appropriate for all, or possibly even most of her new songs, I would consider it a tragic loss if her new direction prevented Alizée from folowing her first passion and doing what she loves.
I wasn't saying that I didn't want her to dance, I was saying that I didn't want her to have any choreographed dance.
