I think it's only natural to be interested in Mylène Farmer considering she wrote all of the lyrics for the first two albums of notre petite ange So I thought I'd look on YouTube and this is what I found:


This is her performance of her biggest hit "Désenchantée" from the opening concert of her 2009 tour. Although the quality is far from best I think it's more than enough to feel the atmosphere there. She really puts up an amazing show. The lights, set, dancers, choreography .. everything blends together perfectly and creates an amazing universe. And although this is actually the first time I've seen a part of a concert of hers it really didn't take long to recognize the style

Tbh I'm not really sure why I'm writing this post. Maybe mainly for two reasons. First I think it's essential to learn more about MF in order to fully comprehend the first few years of Alizèe's career and second I hope one day Alizée could put up a show like that on her own if not a better one.

PS: I envy anyone who has been or will be on one of MF's concerts this year.
PPS: Man, she dances like hell there and she's almost 50!
