Dan Fogelberg died last week so I'm posting this in his honor. It also fits the season. I like to study songwriters like this from the past, the ones who know how to capture a feeling and tell a story.

as i was listening to it, i thought it sounded...a little bit behind the times, if you will. come to find out it's an Edith Piaf tune. here she is singing it live on some old american show.

I know this is an old thread, but the questions where never answered... Yes that is the women from "A Good Year" Marion Cotillard. She is also the girl who played girlfriend of the main guy in the Taxi movies. She's made many movies, and most recently she made a movie documenting the life of Edith Piaf. The movie is called "La Vie En Rose." It's not really new now, it came out around Feb 2007.

I'm a fan of hers, I think she's a great actress, and she played this movie like no one else could... I'm including the trailer for this movie, and Edith Piaf - La Vie En Rose - 1954.
