We have become detached with the artist, or vice versa. New artists are consumed and then thrown out like an empty milk carton. Along comes someone like Lili and you have to go out of your way to get your hands on a physical (genuine) CD. I use to get excited to search Virgin, Tower, and local import record stores, but now you really have to open up your search world-wide. Lili's worth it though.

Ahh, thanks Roman! One of the reasons I registered for only one class this semester. Hopefully they'll date it around March 24-30 since that's Spring Break for us.

You said Latin America??? Do you know where exactly? I'm a great fan from Brazil and I read the posts every hour for something new and I found this, hoping one day she comes nearby or I should wait until July to go to France to see her...

Again, there isn't even any news about an album release, never mind a tour. The idea of a Quebec tour was tossed around when Moi...Lolita was being promoted, but even the sales of a Europe-wide chart topper in Canada were not worth it in the end. There are some who manage to do such a thing, as Alizée did in Britain, but these cases are very rare.

The two really popular styles of music in Quebec right now are acoustic pop and a very certain type of rock, that can only be defined as Quebec Rock. A strange exception of both the isolationist rule and the music rule is Vanessa Paradis, whose new album is quite popular. Unfortunately, nothing for Lili, though if we're lucky, RCA is contemplating the idea of some sort of marketing for the album release.

Then that is the first step. Let that happen, and every member here has to go buy all the copies in there local CD store and hand some out to their friends haha, jk. But in all seriousness they should definitely think about releasing here.

Her new CD is #1 on my chart. That is a pretty long chart too.
