A song I think she could pull off with her new look is Disturbia - Rihanna.

These are my favorite Alizee covers so far.
Il Jouait Du Piano Debout Dis Lui Toi Que Je T'aime La Javanaise However, the one song I wish she'd do cover on is the 1946 French classic "Le Vie En Rose" by French singer Édith Piaf. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/AlZ8v1nFzs0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Aretha Franklin, Bing Crosby, Celine Dion, Donna Summer, Grace Jones, La Toya Jackson, Luciano Pavarotti, Tony Bennett and French singer Patricia Kaas were just some of the more than 40 artists throughout the world who have covered this beautiful song. This was my favorite French song before I discovered Alizee. Below, IMO, are the two best covers so far: Grace Jones (Intro is a little bit long. Go to 2:20 to skip it). <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/kYkVtz6ozJE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Donna Summer (English version) <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/dzugcgkJma8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Last edited by Jake04; 06-01-2011 at 02:53 AM.. |

What song would you like to see Alizée singing?
Alright guys and girls, post here the song you think it would be cool for Alizée to sing (other than her songs) in your opinion!
Ok, I would like to see her singing the song "My Hero" from Foo Fighters I think she would sound really cute saying "There goes my hero, watch him as he goes!" What do you think?

While I know it would never happen, I think it would be awesome if she sang this song: <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/PdU_0my-fA0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Her accent would make this song even more awesome. |

La Vie en Rose. It was sang originally by Edith Piaf in 1945. I think over 50 international artists - from Louis Armstrong to Donna Sommer - have covered it since. However, I think Grace Jone's version was and still is the best - until Alizee decides to do a cover on it, of course. It was the first French song that I liked.
By Grace Jones: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/kYkVtz6ozJE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> By Edith Piaf: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/0NdmIpHKfgk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Last edited by Jake04; 11-18-2011 at 10:53 PM.. |

Here's the Donna Sommer cover in english: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/HO4c4drWxv4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Other than Alizee, I'd like the follwoing French artists to cover it: Isabelle Boulay; Elsa Lunghini; Lara Fabian; Natasha St Pierre and Nolwenn Leroy. May be Jenifer, Claire Keim or Amel Bent could do it justice as well. Patricia Kaas already did a cover on it. Last edited by Jake04; 11-18-2011 at 11:16 PM.. |

This song has been covered many times but no one sang it like IZ.
