Ah memories. Funny thing is the original lyrics with the Spanish part at the end that you don't see in the video. Lolita tienes que entender Que no puedo que darme En la cama al amancer Quieres gozar Pero tienes que comprender Que no puedo passarla bien Si no me vay a trabajar Lolita mi amor dejame me quero escapar Lolita por favor Dejame para de sonar Lolita mi amor Si pudieras empezar Una vida real, te doy la senal Ah fate. Oh, well that's interesting, I never picked up on the Spanish parts either (of course I don't know Spanish). Her English is also good. Well, you know Alizée studied Spanish in school. Maybe it was around that time or not so far off.

Yep, her Spanish is pretty good. Her English isn't half bad either.
I'm sure it's really difficult to sing in a different language. The lyrics are probably meaningless (sometimes). I'm trying to learn some basic Polish at the mo and it's driving me mad The basic words are ok (sort of) but they all change in the context of the sentence. Nightmare! |

I have some videos in which she says Thank you at the end of song, one I'm fed up video in which she gives her intro. Remember the Moscow concert in which she says few lines in English and then says that she doesn't know English. So I am amazed about her all those songs in English. She has done well in singing all those. |

And her Spanish, well, I can say that French have some natural predispositions to speak Spanish, it's a bit easier for them, as those languages are a bit similar to each other. I warned you! Basic words are easy, but we have very complex grammar, 7 cases for a noun. And context is really important in Polish, we almost always neglect subject. And we have veery many different idiomatic expressions. |
