Try valerian and passiflora (easily available herbal remedies).They're not nearly as hard on your system as melatonin and work very well for relaxing you to get more restful sleep.

Thanks. I actually do have some herbal tea with valerian which I remember now that you mention it. Maybe I'll bring some.

Yeah melatonin is a bit hard but it gets you results quickly. I had to adjust to an 10 or 11 hour time difference last year when I visited my relatives in Ukraine. It worked like a charm.
