Well this is some of the worst news I've seen yet: I tried to go to Alizee-Forum.com which I have actually mostly been using. It was so well organized and always had such prompt updates from great users like Snatcher42 and RMJ and various others. That was really a huge site. Was. It's down with just a message left by Riccardo I'm guessing as I think he is the owner of the site (doesn't say). Apparently Brad also does not have time for it. I hope Brad has time for this site at least. If not, you can go to http://www.alizee-latino.com/foro/in...=4;sa=expand#4
and go to the united states section, though all the controls still seem to be in Spanish.

The message left at the Alizee-forum even left a make a donation button at the bottom. It does not work, though. Looks like alizee-fanpage and alizee-forum may be gone either forever this time or for a long time. I hope someone can at least save the data somewhere. I really wish the owners/admins had tried to engage people more in paying for it, if that is the problem, before now. How are we going to keep going as a fan community? At least I saved as much Alizée information as I could along the way. We seem to be on pretty thin ice here. I wonder if Alizée's fan base is even strong enough to prevent this implosion everywhere. One gets to thinking about having nice web sites to chronicle Alizée events, create photo repositories, communicate and collaborate with other fans around the world. One gets to thinking it will be here forever, but one day it could just be gone. It's easy to forget how this stuff must be maintained and without it, we won't even know what Alizée is doing. Concert tour or whatever. I will turn to the French sites if I must, but that's really going to be difficult and not at all the same experience. It was nice while it lasted. What to do now?

its ok Roman, theres a bunch of people who are working on getting it back up. They say it may only be a few days

All they need is a server, and the back up files from Ric, and AF will be back Just a few days

I just checked alizée forum and the discussion boards are back up, although I'm not sure for how long.

Thats a shame. Really it is. I was registered there but never posted. To attached to this site . But 7,000+ people from there are going to look for a new site for the time being. That is really sad. I hope they get it back up.

That's good. I wonder if the English speaking world of Alizée fans, or better yet the whole fan community in general, will ever decide to cooperate enough to create a more robust system than this. I know something of Riccardo's situation historically having read something a while back about it. I guess I should have been more aware that can happen, as hacking attempts have also kept the Alizee-fanpage from being usable (being usable necessarily means being reliable). I guess I'm still just some dude who likes to post here and read people's reports, but wow, it really sucks when that happens. That is a great site, but if it is teetering on the finances accumulated by one far from rich guy, that by itself is sad. I am really glad that we do actually have people around here that care enough to respond. Maybe someday the response can be quicker. I didn't know there was any issue until suddenly gone.
