I've never seen any of the Mission Impossible movies. Are they any good?

My second favorite movie of all time (you can probably guess my first):

I've probably seen it at least 30 times. Well, 31 if you count today.

Watched the Sherlock Holmes sequel the other day.

Quite enjoyed it, and fortunately it seems like my having not seen the first movie wasn't a detriment in the slightest.

Also I lol'd at recognizing Stephen Fry and realizing that "I'm the only person in this theater who knows who Stephen Fry is"

Not the mindfuck I was expecting. I just thought that Jennifer Connelly was hot.

..I'm a Sandra Bullock fan. Don't judge me.

Found it to be a typical Sandra Bullock film. She was funny and cute as usual.

Jealous, I haven't seen it yet As for recognizing Stephen Fry, just maaaybe some might remember him as Gordon D from V For Vendetta or as the narrator in Little Big Planet (that alone makes the game worthwhile ). Me, I just know him from those and, of course, from A Bit Of Fry And Laurie. I'm aware that he does and has done plenty of other stuff but those are my favorites.

First Sandra Bullock movie I've seen that I did not like. An odd mix of witchcraft and pet cemetery.

Kinda went into it expecting some sort of watered down thriller, seeing as how the plot was her brother went missing, but I got more of a down to earth drama. I mean, once the "action" started up, I had a feeling as to what the ending was going to be, and that's exactly what it ended up being.

It was a good movie though.

I watched Sherlock Holmes - A Game of Shadows yesterday

7 - 7,5/10

Well... I really really liked the first movie, my friend and I we enjoyed it a lot and so we obviously went to the cinema to see the 2nd part together too.

We both liked it but I really prefer the 1st one, I wouldn't buy the 2nd on DVD to be honest...

It was enjoyable but the 1st movie was much darker, more thrilling...

I simply couldn't take the Moriarty guy in A Game of Shadows serioulsly. That wasn't a villian for me. Lord Blackwood from was much more creepy and impressive as the bad boy.

Also the case itself was less interesting... still good though. But I really missed that feeling from the 1st part where the case and Blackwood were giving me the creeps. It was also less funny. In my opinion.

Well the ending was already spoilt for me because everyone who ever read the Holmes stories (or parts of them) knows what happens at Reichenbach...

And my friend was right when she said that you really could see that this film was made for screenings in 3D... (we went to see it in 2D) for example in the scene in the forest (which was a bit too long for my taste) or well... Reichenbach. She didn't like it that much I didn't bother.

Ok that sounds like I didn't like that one at all but it was really good and I enjoyed it but still prefer the 1st. That's all.
