I have a better idea. I'll listen to Alizée.

You know, I never go to bed with music on but that just might help. Either that, or I'll be too into the music and unable to sleep. It's certainly worth a shot—the worst that could happen is that I stay up and listen to an entire albumzée. I can't lose either way! (Until the morning when I'm dead tired.)

Edit:

Une Enfant du Siècle did not put me to sleep, and I swear that 36 and a half minutes went by way too quickly.

Try Parler tout bas. It have worked for me in the first try before.

But if whole Une Enfant du Siècle didn't work for you, I doubt PTB will do.

Really? During marching season on early-morning three-hour bus rides I'd always listen to UEdS to help me get much-needed sleep. I prolly owe my lack of.. death to Lili.

Try La Javanaise?

Whenever I want to just sleep, I'll listen to talk radio (I think it's something that has to do with my nostalgia for falling asleep after a long saint patty's day or halloween, listening to my mom and uncles talk about something and me trying to hang in there while laying on the couch on the back wall that's older than my mom)

but when I want to sleep, you know, so I don't die, I listen to gregorian chants. It's like a gloved dentist is gently massaging my brain

I finally fell asleep for about an hour—maybe two— before I had to get up this morning. That tends to make you feel worse than if you hadn't slept at all. I feel like crap but I'm done with everything I needed to do. I'm about to lay down now and hopefully sleep for the rest of the day.
